NightChurch volunteers are drawn from our local church communities. We are a welcoming group and are looking for people to support us in many ways. This video explains a bit more about NightChurch and how you could get involved.
Join our visitor team
Volunteering on our team is a wonderful opportunity to spend time in God’s presence and bless his work with our visitors. We always have lovely stories to share with the rest of team through night and at debrief.
Our volunteers come from many local churches in Chester, with different backgrounds and life experience. We work with people’s strengths and provide training and encouragement to move into areas they are not so familiar with.
Volunteers commit to being on team once per month from 8pm for setup to 2:30 am after packdown and debrief.

Join our intercessors or pray for us anywhere
Prayer is crucial to NightChurch, we would love you to pray for the team and the people we serve.

One of our key strengths is that our intercessors join the team on Saturday evenings to pray and listen to God while Night Church is open. If this might be for you, either in the building or virtually please contact us.
Join our musicians
Our musicians worship gently throughout the evening. Since NightChurch opened in 2010, our team have worshipped with vocals, bass, guitar, piano, drums, cajon and many more.
As in Psalm 22:3, ‘The Lord inhabits the praises of His people’. We often notice the change in atmosphere when worship is going on.
Visitors often speak of the difference it makes.
